Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the stewarding team in daily cleaning tasks and upkeep of kitchen and dining areas.
Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.
Train, develop, and motivate stewarding staff to ensure high performance.
Maintain records of cleaning schedules and reports, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with kitchen and food and beverage departments to support daily operational needs.
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding cleanliness and service promptly and professionally.
Job requirements
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role in stewarding or a related field within a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the foodservice industry.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
A positive, proactive attitude and attention to detail.
