We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef – Pastry to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Pastry Chef in creating, preparing, and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, and bakery items that meet our luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing the pastry section, ensuring consistency, quality, and creativity in all products.

  • Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, bread, and confections according to the hotel’s standards.

  • Supervise and mentor pastry team members, providing guidance, training, and support.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

  • Collaborate with other culinary teams to develop new dessert concepts and seasonal menus.

  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and maintain equipment and supplies in optimal condition.

  • Participate in special events, banquets, and high-profile functions as required.

Job requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Culinary degree or diploma with specialization in pastry or baking.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining pastry kitchen.

  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
