The candidate will be responsible for generating and managing event sales, building long-term relationships with clients, and maximizing revenue opportunities across all event spaces, including weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and more.

This role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Drive event sales by identifying new business opportunities and proactively targeting prospective clients.

    • Develop and implement strategies to meet revenue goals for event bookings, including conferences, weddings, private parties, and corporate functions.

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with event planners, corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders.

    • Respond to client inquiries, providing detailed information about event spaces, services, packages, and rates.

    • Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts to clients.

  • Event Coordination & Management:

    • Oversee the event booking process from initial inquiry to event execution, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams .

    • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized solutions that align with the Palazzo Versace brand.

    • Negotiate contracts and ensure that all details are agreed upon, including timelines, pricing, and service requirements.

    • Ensure that events are executed to the highest standards, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Revenue Maximization & Reporting:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for sales growth.

    • Regularly review and report on sales performance, tracking revenue targets and conversion rates.

  • Relationship Building & Networking:

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers.

    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Palazzo Versace Dubai as a premier event destination.

    • Leverage the Versace brand to attract high-profile clientele, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences.

Job requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event sales, event planning, or a similar role within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing business.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.

    • High attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    • Familiarity with Opera.
