Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Sous Chef to support the culinary leadership team in delivering authentic, high-quality Italian fine dining cuisine. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence aligned with luxury dining standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations

  • Prepare and execute Italian dishes in line with established recipes and fine dining standards

  • Supervise kitchen team members during service, ensuring consistency and quality

  • Ensure proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness

  • Support inventory control, stock rotation, and mise en place planning

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen team members

Job requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Culinary qualification or relevant professional training

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Italian cuisine, preferably in fine dining or 5-star establishments

  • Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating standards

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
