Position Summary:

Palazzo Versace Hotel is seeking a dedicated and professional Guest Ambassador to join the esteemed team at La Vita Restaurant & Bar. This pivotal role is responsible for managing all reservations and maintaining the guest database, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest service in a luxurious and vibrant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Reservations Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of reservations for La Vita Restaurant & Bar, including taking, confirming, and modifying bookings as necessary.
  • Ensure that all reservations are accurately entered into the guest database, maintaining up-to-date records of guest preferences and special requests.

Guest Database Maintenance:

  • Manage and update the guest database, ensuring that all information is accurate and accessible to the service team.
  • Analyze guest data to identify trends and preferences, assisting in the development of personalized service initiatives.

Guest Interaction:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests regarding reservations, inquiries, and special requests, delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and to enhance their overall dining experience at La Vita.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the restaurant management team and staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding reservations and guest preferences.
  • Assist in training staff on the importance of guest database management and personalized service.

Promotional Activities:

  • Support marketing initiatives by utilizing guest data to promote upcoming events, specials, and personalized offers.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special events, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding guest data protection and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a guest services or reservations role within a luxury hotel or upscale dining environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing exceptional guest service.
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and guest database software.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends and enhance guest experience.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
