General Accountant - Real Estate

We are seeking a results-driven General Accountant to join our Real Estate sister company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions for the company, ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.

• Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

• Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections, and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Tax Compliance: Ensure the company complies with VAT and other relevant tax laws in the UAE. Prepare and submit VAT returns on time.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

• Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including tax and other deductions.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management, offering insights into the company’s financial health.

• Supporting Management: Assist management with financial analysis, cost controls, and other ad-hoc financial tasks.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Knowledge of real estate accounting practices and regulations is a plus.

• UAE Driving License is a must.

• Salary Range is between AED 5,000 to 6,000 based on the Experience
