About the Role
The Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication between clients and all hotel departments. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maximizing event revenue and maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage all assigned events to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.
Coordinate with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Housekeeping, and other departments for flawless service delivery.
Prepare and review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), floor plans, and event timelines.
Conduct pre- and post-event meetings to align details and gather feedback.
Monitor event budgets, ensure billing accuracy, and manage final account settlements.
Identify opportunities to up-sell and enhance guest experiences.
Ensure all events adhere to brand standards, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements to event processes and offerings.
Job requirements
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position within a 5-star hotel or luxury venue.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and event management systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
