Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Commis I to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food products in line with the standards of a five-star hospitality environment. The role is ideal for a chef with solid foundational skills who is eager to grow within a professional kitchen brigade.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to set recipes and standards
Ensure mise en place is prepared accurately and on time for service
Support senior chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Properly store food items and follow stock rotation and labeling procedures
Adhere to portion control, presentation, and quality standards
Assist in minimizing food waste and maintaining cost control
Job requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Culinary qualification or relevant professional kitchen training
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
