Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Commis I to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food products in line with the standards of a five-star hospitality environment. The role is ideal for a chef with solid foundational skills who is eager to grow within a professional kitchen brigade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to set recipes and standards

  • Ensure mise en place is prepared accurately and on time for service

  • Support senior chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times

  • Properly store food items and follow stock rotation and labeling procedures

  • Adhere to portion control, presentation, and quality standards

  • Assist in minimizing food waste and maintaining cost control

Job requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Culinary qualification or relevant professional kitchen training

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen

  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
