Position Summary:
Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a charismatic and service-oriented Cocktail Waitress to join the vibrant team at La Piscina, the hotel’s chic poolside venue nestled among lush palm trees with stunning waterfront views. Known for its lively ambiance, signature cocktails, and Mediterranean-inspired menu, La Piscina offers a stylish setting for daytime lounging and sunset entertainment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong knowledge of beverages, and a flair for creating exceptional guest experiences in a luxury outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Deliver personalized and attentive service to guests relaxing by the pool, ensuring a friendly and engaging atmosphere.

• Accurately take drink and food orders, providing recommendations and upselling signature items such as “Spice Me Up,” “Drama,” and “Volcano.”

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any requests, ensuring maximum comfort and satisfaction.

Beverage & Food Delivery:

• Serve cocktails, refreshments, and light bites efficiently and stylishly, aligning with La Piscina’s high standards.

• Maintain service flow even during peak hours, ensuring all orders are delivered promptly and presented beautifully.

Menu Knowledge:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the beverage and poolside food menu, including ingredients, preparation, and pairings.

• Stay updated on new drink trends and seasonal offerings to provide insightful recommendations to guests.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate effectively with bartenders, pool attendants, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service.

• Support training efforts for new team members, promoting teamwork and consistency in service delivery.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety regulations, keeping the poolside area clean and orderly at all times.

• Follow responsible alcohol service practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Promotions & Entertainment:

• Actively engage guests by promoting daily specials, poolside events, and entertainment schedules featuring the resident DJ.

• Contribute to the energetic and Instagram-worthy vibe of La Piscina by embodying the brand’s spirit of relaxed luxury and fun.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service, with a passion for hospitality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and foster positive relationships.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
