Job description
Looking for Sales Manager (MICE) to focus on growing company's Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) business. This involves developing and implementing strategies to attract new clients, manage relationships with existing ones, and ultimately drive revenue growth in the MICE segment. The qualified candidate needs to have a strong understanding of the local market and
will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, staying abreast of market trends, and ensuring smooth operations for MICE events.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Developing and executing strategies to expand the MICE business, including identifying target markets and potential clients.
Business Development:
Sourcing new leads, pitching for business, and negotiating contracts with corporate clients, DMCs, and other industry partners regionally & International.
Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Sales Management:
Leading sales initiatives, including client acquisition, negotiation, and closing deals.
Operational Oversight:
Collaborating with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE events, including logistics, venue management, and other related services.
Market Intelligence:
Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
Financial Management:
Tracking sales performance, managing budgets, and contributing to revenue targets.
Job requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in sales and operations management, particularly in the MICE sector.
Strong understanding of global travel destinations and market trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
Fluency in English (and potentially other languages).
