Position Summary:
Palazzo Versace Hotel is seeking a skilled and professional Bartender to join the team at La Vita Restaurant & Bar. This role is essential in providing exceptional beverage service in a chic and vibrant environment characterized by luxurious leather and matelassé textile upholstery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of mixology, an appreciation for boutique wines, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Preparation and Service:
Prepare and serve a wide range of innovative cocktails, wines, and other beverages in accordance with La Vita’s high standards.
Ensure accuracy in drink preparation, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
Guest Interaction:
Provide attentive and personalized service to all guests, engaging with them to enhance their experience at La Vita.
Proactively address guest inquiries and requests, ensuring satisfaction and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Inventory Management:
Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing beverages and supplies.
Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records to ensure efficient stock management.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and monitor guest consumption to ensure a safe environment.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive work environment.
Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in training new staff members on beverage service standards and procedures.
Promotional Activities:
Participate in the creation and execution of beverage promotions and special events to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.
Stay informed about current trends in mixology and beverage offerings to contribute to the development of the bar menu.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender in a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.
Extensive knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits, with a passion for delivering exceptional beverage service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
