Job description

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.

  • Coordinate with the sales and catering teams to plan menus, room layouts, and other details.

  • Ensure that all necessary equipment, materials, and staffing are arranged for each event.

  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that all tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are arranged according to the client's specifications.

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food and beverage service.

  • Monitor the progress of events, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise and making adjustments as needed to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Interact with clients and guests throughout the event, ensuring that their needs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner.

  • Handle any complaints or special requests, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and materials, replenishing as needed and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Job requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in banquet supervisory role in 5 star hotel.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and staff members.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and industry best practices.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
