Job description
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
Coordinate with the sales and catering teams to plan menus, room layouts, and other details.
Ensure that all necessary equipment, materials, and staffing are arranged for each event.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that all tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are arranged according to the client's specifications.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food and beverage service.
Monitor the progress of events, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise and making adjustments as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
Interact with clients and guests throughout the event, ensuring that their needs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner.
Handle any complaints or special requests, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain inventory of banquet supplies, equipment, and materials, replenishing as needed and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Job requirements
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in banquet supervisory role in 5 star hotel.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, guests, and staff members.
Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and industry best practices.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
