Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Audio/Visual (A/V) Supervisor to set up, operate, and maintain audio and video equipment for outlets, events, meetings, and presentations. The ideal candidate will ensure and monitor a seamless audiovisual experience for clients and audiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the setup and operation of audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, and productions.

  •  Managing a team of technicians and ensuring they are properly trained and equipped.

  •  Collaborating with clients and event planners to understand their audio/visual requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

  •  Troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support to ensure the smooth running of audio and visual systems during events.

  • Strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to audio and visual equipment, ensuring seamless execution of events.

  • Provide daily supervision of the duties, priorities, and workflows of Entertainment Audio/Video group.

  • Work closely with the IT department to integrate audiovisual systems with the hotel’s network for streaming and conferencing capabilities.

  • Provide direct personnel supervision of the Entertainment Technical team, including scheduling, investigations, discipline, etc.

  • Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of AV equipment, up-sell different AV services, and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals.

  • Operate projection systems, visual splitters, build truss construction, wireless microphones and setting up frequencies, use light desk, DMX addresses, programming light desk, connecting DMX splitter, managing the show.

  • Having archive for hotel music (entertainment activities, night club, lobby, restaurant, bars).

Job requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Audio/Visual Supervisor or similar role.

  • Knowledge of audio and video equipment, cabling, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Familiarity with software and hardware used in the audiovisual field.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Certification in audiovisual technology or a related field is a plus.
